In October ‘we’re gonna rock right down to Electrical Avenue’* and draw Brixton, the British capital of Afro-Caribbean tradition with an eclectic mixture of Victorian structure and a vibrant multi-cultural market.

NB: This month we’re switching issues round. Our first Brixton sketchwalk takes place on Sunday 8 October, run by Dean Ashton and Catherine Bardrick. The second go to on Saturday 21 October is hosted by Rachel Bone and Dean Ashton.

On each days we’ll be based mostly at Windrush Sq., named after the ship that introduced immigrants to Britain from the West Indies in 1948, marking the starting of multicultural society in modern-day Britain.
