CALL TO ARTISTS
Deadline to use: Sunday, 6 October 2024. A four-week, digital/on-line workshop with Kolaj Institute in October 2024. A working understanding of 1’s observe is important to 1’s skilled and inventive improvement. Supposed as a clinic for working artists at any stage, individuals within the Collage in Follow Workshop will discover how they go about making artwork and placing it out into the world. How you can make a residing as an artist? How you can get your work seen? How you can get an exhibition? How you can get reviewed? How you can make a life for your self as an artist? What does that even imply? These are a number of the challenges artists face once they need to take their artwork observe to the subsequent stage. Contributors will end the workshop with a deeper understanding of their observe; a robust assertion of observe that can be utilized to speak with curators, editors, and artwork professionals; a portfolio of constant art work (or a plan to make one); and instruments for rising or creating their observe.
