Artists Tyler Allen (La Marque, Texas, USA); Rashad Ali Muhammad (Clinton, Maryland, USA); Alicia Saadi (New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA); Jennella Younger (Brooklyn, New York, USA); and Karin Williams (Socorro, New Mexico, USA) gathered at Kolaj Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, 13-17 October 2024 for a week-long artist residency targeted on Plantations as buildings, metaphors, and techniques of energy. On Monday, the artists visited the Whitney and Laura Plantations.
