Blended Florals – Colour Combo


I like a gingham plaid for a background layer and used a chunk from the Wildflower Birthday Designer Collection Paper. The beautiful tulips are from the Blended Floral Bundle.

 

 

The colour combo is from my January Inspiration Calendar – Summer time Splash, Fairly in Pink, Melon Mambo.

Ideas & Directions

  • Melon Mambo Card Base – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, rating at 4 1/4

  • Wildflower Birthday Designer Collection Paper – 4 x 5 1/4

  • Sleek Greenery Vellum – die reduce utilizing the second from largest Perennial Postage Die.

  • Stamp the floral picture on Fundamental White in Black Memento ink. The picture is from the Blended Florals Stamp Set. Colour with Stampin’ Blends (Mild Fairly in Pink, Mild Summer time Splash and Mild Melon Mambo). Die reduce with the coordinating dies.

  • Adhere the floral piece to the vellum piece. Adhere to the cardboard placing adhesive behind the floral picture. I additionally added a tiny little bit of liquid glue on every nook of the vellum and smeared it with my finger so as to add some tackiness with out having the glue present by the vellum.

  • Stamp the sentiment (from Cake Celebrations) on a 1/2” strip of Fundamental White in Melon Mambo ink Reduce the ends at an angle and cling to the cardboard with Dimensionals.

  • Add some Fairly in Pink Shimmer Gems.

 

 

On the within layer (4 x 5 1/4), stamp the sentiment (from Birthday Celebrations) in Melon Mambo and the greenery picture (from Blended Florals) in Summer time Splash. Stamp a 2nd time with out re-inking after which add one other stamped-off picture.

 

 

This card makes me really feel like spring is on the way in which!
