Please introduce your self.

I’m Silvia Clara, I used to be born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and seven years in the past I made a decision to maneuver to Miramar, a lovely and quiet coastal metropolis.

Being in my ’50s I can see issues from one other standpoint, watching my youngsters and my two little grandchildren develop up is among the issues I worth probably the most; in addition to touring with my husband and attending to know new cultures.

Inform us a bit bit about your design journey.

On the age of 40, I made a decision to begin faculty and examine Graphic Design. One of the satisfying choices of my life was surrounding myself with passionate younger individuals who contaminated me with a love for design.

From then on I did completely different tasks from brand design, branding, and stationery, however in 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, I found the 3X3 Design Problem (an amazing thought of Shannon McNab) and all the things modified. From that second on I couldn’t cease designing patterns!!!!

Do you may have a favourite portfolio design or consumer collaboration?

I’ve two favourite designs, one is “Flowers in India.” I traveled to India twice and with the ability to examine a few of their designs and provides them a private contact, was very satisfying for me.

The opposite design I like is “Ginger snow globes”, I really feel I achieved a really good steadiness within the composition.

What or who’re you impressed by?

I discover it tough to know what issues encourage me as a result of I really feel an inordinate curiosity for all the things… each thought in my head makes me examine and I find yourself loving a brand new theme, a brand new flower, a brand new coloration…

Do you may have sources you’d prefer to suggest?

I like working with Adobe Illustrator, and little by little I used to be studying and having fun with Adobe Photoshop. However in the previous couple of months, I began working with Procreate and I feel that can be an amazing love for me.

Skillshare helped me loads on my approach, I used to be capable of study from glorious academics, resembling Shannon McNab, Elizabeth Silver, Brooke Glaser, Bärbel Dressler, and Cat Coquillette.

What do you love to do outdoors of floor design?

I like listening to music, learning languages, touring… particularly touring to completely different locations.

Whenever you look again at your design journey to this point, what are you most pleased with?

My journey in sample design is brief, however I consider that in a 12 months and a half I used to be capable of develop in design, proportion, coloration, and magnificence. I really feel like I’m simply beginning out and have loads to find but.
