CALL TO ARTISTS

Ultimate Deadline to Apply: Monday, 4 November 2024. A month-long, digital/on-line collage artist residency in November and December 2024. As a part of a year-long investigation of castles as buildings, metaphors, and programs of energy, Kolaj Institute will host a month-long digital artist residency centered on castles and the house they occupy in our modern creativeness. The residency will construct on the work finished by artists in Collage Artist Residency: Scotland and New Orleans the place artists explored feudal fort programs, manor homes, and plantations as buildings, metaphors, and programs of energy. After the Residency, artists will probably be invited to suggest art work for inclusion in Kolaj Institute’s Citadel Mission, an exhibition, ebook, and associated applications in 2025-2026 that invite viewers to contemplate how the historical past of castles, colonies, plantations, and firms relate to 1 one other and form the world we dwell in in the present day.
