The ministry said these were among the 881 applications received from 13 industry and energy sectors, including the robotics, semiconductor, display, and renewable energy fields. For instance, one project aims to develop an AI foundation model for predicting the physical properties of compound formulations for use in the chemical, automobile, semiconductor and display industries.
