We closed out the yr with a last mission by the highschool youngsters right here. They’re fairly psyched. The man within the picture, within the blue shirt holding the sculpture, is Brian Frus, our new instructing addition to the studio. What an ideal scenario that’s. Brian, his spouse, Stephanie, and their two daughters, landed in Ellsworth this fall, transferring from Jacksonville, Florida. Brian was the Professor of the Glassblowing Division at Jacksonville College for a bunch of years, like, 14, or one thing.. (sorry, Brian, I don’t know your resume by coronary heart). My intention is to work on sculptures and one-of-a-kind objects with a little bit extra complexity. And to take extra time with each bit.
