We Love Fall Week: Gratitude Tags with Nathalie DeSousa

Hiya artful pals! It’s Nathalie with you at this time to share a brand new artful concept impressed by this week’s theme, gratitude.  We now have welcomed fall right here in Canada, and are celebrating Thanksgiving—getting along with our households to take pleasure in time collectively, meals, and love. We all the time put together small presents for our hosts (my sister hosts Thanksgiving dinner), so I pulled the newest Altenew launch to create these tags to indicate my gratitude.

Provides | Cardstock, specialty paper, steel dies, glitter tape, stamps, inks, mixing brushes, mini die chopping machine: Altenew; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Die chopping machine: Spellbinders; Ribbon: Maya Street

My concept for the tags was to mix fall, shade, and just a little spark to carry a country magnificence to those tags. I used to be so glad to have Altenew’s fall launch at hand to carry my concepts to life. Let’s check out every tag.

I trimmed all three tags to 3-1/2 x 6” from white cardstock and one from kraft cardstock. For my first tag, I used the brand new Zero Waste: Autumn Leaves die to create all of the leaves on the tag. The brand new Zero Waste dies are so versatile, as they create the die cuts, but in addition a workable detrimental piece. I backed the detrimental die minimize with one of many tags. Then, I pulled the brand new Fairly Pumpkins Layering Die Set and a choice of the brand new Artful Requirements cardstock to create the pumpkins on the tag. For the sentiment, I used Altenew’s Timeless Sentiments: Vacation Version and mixed kraft and glitter cardstock to create the sentiment.

For my second tag,  I used a kraft base and lined it with among the die cuts from the earlier tag. I trimmed ¼” strips from the Artful Requirements cardstock that I used to create the pumpkins. I hooked up them to the tag at a slight angle. This time, I created the pumpkins utilizing glitter tape (adhere it to white cardstock earlier than die chopping), metallic cardstock, and glitter cardstock. I adhered the pumpkins to the left of the tag, then created a sentiment utilizing the brand new Pumpkin Patch stamp set and die.

For my final tag, I coloured among the leaves die cuts with Recent Dye Inks to match the colours of the cardstock. This time, I made a decision so as to add a chunk of kraft cardstock to the underside of the white tag, then lined the seam with a chunk of glitter cardstock. I created the pumpkin die minimize and set it on the middle of the tag above the glitter paper. The coloured leaves helped to border the pumpkin within the tag. For the sentiment, I stamped one of many sentiments from the Pumpkin Patch stamp set and die and adhered the strip to the tag.

I  love how these turned out, and I hope they encourage your subsequent artful mission to share gratitude, whether or not that be a tag, a card, or a gratitude album! Keep in mind to take a look at Altenew’s newest launch, and take time to take pleasure in and be pleased about the little issues!
